Welcome to the Official Women of Size Website!

Rosemary Parry-Brock is an accredited Trainer;  with over 35 years experience in inspiring young, and older, women to see themselves from the perspective of "acceptability".   Age, colour, size and shape bear no relation whatsoever to a person's potential.   The purpose of this site is to provide information and hopefully inspiration for women of size to pursue new avenues of endeavour and to meet challenges and obstacles placed before them in a society focused on "thin-ness".

Writing from experience, Rosemary founded RoseMary's NoteBook, more than 20 years ago.  The NoteBook as it is fondly known is a regular monthly newsletter distributed throughout the world each month via an exclusive mailing list, together with small Fashion Supplements, and sister-newsletters, all dealing with matters of size and everyday things relating to the world of today's woman.

Best Sunday Hat Publications is aimed at providing women with information, bits of gossipy news on fashion; as well as providing women everywhere a forum through which to write their own personal columns under pen-names if preferred.  Women enjoy what other women say about their lives; especially when it relates to coping in a world that doesn't see the beauty in women who are coloured, who are older, who are bigger and who don't fit into the "ideal" description in the 21st century.

Aside from writing her regular newsletters, Rosemary finds time to write the occasional booklet dealing with self-esteem such as "Reflections", "Rose in Bloom", "The A-Z of self Esteem for the size 16 plus!", "Woman of Distinction" as well as inhouse manuals and guidelines for employers of women within their workforce.

Her "Returning to the Workforce" has been reprinted five times and is a recognised "first step" in the pursuit of securing employment for the woman who has been either a homemaker or carer;  retrenched or even retired, but who now finds herself in a situation whereby she has to work to become independent.

Guest Speaking is another form of communication that Rosemary enjoys, and subjects as far apart as "Shopping for Everyday Wear" to "Domestic Violence" and "Confidently living in your own home as you grow older" present practical, sensible hints and strategies for women in today's society.
